Menu bar utility
The legendary contextual menu,
rebuilt for modern macOS.
The original FinderPop patched every app’s menus, which modern macOS no longer allows. This rebuild uses today’s supported APIs to bring back as much of the original as they allow, from one menu bar icon.
Drop aliases, folders, scripts and documents into the Items folder, and they become a hierarchical menu.
⌘-click for Processes, ⇧-click for the Desktop (add ⌃ for disks only).
Run .sh and AppleScript files right from the menu. Option-click to edit one instead.
Press Tab on any item for a floating window with a Quick Look preview, size, kind and actions.
The original conventions still work: ---a for all apps, ---p for processes, dividers and more.
Pick a folder while items are selected in Finder to move, copy or alias them there.
With a menu item highlighted, press a key to act on it.
What’s changed: the Finder’s own right-click menu and Open/Save dialogs can no longer be patched, so everything starts from the menu bar icon. Recent Items shows recently modified files, since Finder’s list isn’t public.
