Viewport is a from-scratch VNC client for macOS Tahoe with a library, Bonjour discovery and Apple Remote Desktop sign-in. It contains no Screens code or assets.
Grid or list, groups, Recents, Links and search, with live thumbnails of each screen.
Finds Macs with Screen Sharing and most VNC servers on your network via Bonjour.
Press ⌘K, or open a vnc://user@host:port link.
Scale to fit or actual size, observe mode, quality settings, clipboard sync and a local cursor.
Ctrl-Alt-Del, Mission Control, Spaces, Lock Screen, Force Quit, Type Password and Type Text.
VNC passwords and Apple Remote Desktop credentials, stored on this device only.
⌘ shortcuts go to the remote computer. ⌘Q, ⌘W, ⌘H, ⌘M, ⌘` and every ⌃⌘ shortcut stay on your Mac.
The VNC protocol isn’t encrypted. Use Viewport on trusted networks or over a VPN. SSH tunnelling, RDP and file transfer aren’t included.
